Nick Loris was quoted by the National Journal on the future of wind projects.
Nick Loris, executive vice president of policy for the Conservative Coalition for Climate Solutions, believes that there are some gusts of hope, especially when it comes to onshore wind projects, because those offer more competitive costs compared to offshore projects.
“Even if there is a reduction or elimination of the production tax credit that the wind energy would benefit from, there’s enough evidence that some of these wind projects would be built with or without the subsidy,” he told National Journal.
