David Kemp joins the National Association of Scholars’ panel “The New Energy Competition: China, America, and the Politics of Dependence.” He spoke about how to make the US more competitive with China by removing barriers, especially permitting, and explained why the answer to Chinese competition is not to try to plan better than them, but instead to unlock the advantages of the free market by removing policy constraints.
