As CEO of Carbon X Credits and Director of Carbon Strategy at True Methane Technologies, Whitney has been at the forefront of the science-based carbon offset arena, contributing to the development and execution of legacy well plugging projects under several major carbon registries’ protocols.
Whitney’s career highlights include pioneering emissions measurement methodologies before the publication of official protocols, as well as her involvement in successful carbon offset projects. Her collaborations with organizations like the EPA, USGS, DOE, and NETL have established her as an innovator in methane reduction projects and carbon offset strategy. Whitney’s expertise ensures that Carbon X and True Methane provides high-quality data that enables clients to meet compliance standards and achieve climate goals.
She earned a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Geosciences from the University of Tulsa and a Bachelor’s in Geology (B.Sc.) from Oklahoma State University. Her deep understanding of oil and gas operations has positioned her group as a leader in the carbon offset industry.
