Simone Shenny leads communications, media relations, government affairs, and external engagement at C3 Solutions. She builds relationships with journalists, policymakers, industry leaders, and coalition partners to expand the organization’s reach.
Before joining C3 Solutions, Shenny spent more than six years at the Cato Institute, most recently as Director of External Affairs. There, she expanded engagement with policymakers, embassies, trade associations, universities, think tanks, and business leaders. She previously led communications and media relations efforts that brought the institute’s research to broader audiences.
Earlier in her career, Shenny spent a decade producing local television news, covering breaking news, politics, public affairs, and community events. She holds a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University and earned a bachelor’s degree in theater, political media, and political science from UMass Amherst.
