Research Fellow
Ian Banks is the Research Fellow at C3 Solutions where he studies and develops energy, science, and environmental policy solutions. He writes widely on issues related to energy production, market innovations, scientific and technological progress, R&D policy, and ways to improve the climate and environment. Prior to joining C3 Solutions, Ian completed a master’s in Science and Religion at the University of Oxford with research focused on research and technology ethics. He has previously worked at the American Enterprise Institute, the House of Representatives, and in higher education. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Covenant College and his writing has appeared in outlets such as The Hill, RealClearScience, and The Wall Street Journal.
