C3 Solutions Announces Simone Shenny as VP of Communications and External Affairs

WASHINGTON, D.C. — C3 Solutions announces that Simone Shenny will join the organization as Vice President of Communications and External Affairs. In this role, Shenny will lead C3 Solutions’ communications, media relations, government affairs, external affairs, and strategic engagement efforts. She will work to strengthen relationships with journalists, policymakers, industry leaders, coalition partners, and other stakeholders while elevating C3 Solutions’ mission to advance free-market energy and environmental policies.

Shenny joins C3 Solutions after more than six years at the Cato Institute, where she most recently served as Director of External Affairs. During her tenure, she led initiatives designed to expand engagement with policymakers, embassies, trade associations, universities, think tanks, and business leaders. Prior to that role, she led communications, social media, and media relations efforts, helping increase the visibility and impact of the institute’s research across national, local, and international media outlets. Before entering public policy, she spent a decade in local television news as a producer covering breaking news, politics, public affairs, and major community events. She holds a Master of Professional Studies in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University

Shenny brings extensive experience in strategic communications, policymaker engagement, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs. Reporting to the C3 Solutions’ President, she will lead the expansion of the organization’s reach and build new connections around its work advancing innovation, free markets, and practical solutions to America’s energy and environmental challenges.
